Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress from the US. The most notable recognition was given to her in her character Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She played the leading role Jerrica Jem Benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her younger sister is Ally. Growing up Aubrey performed with The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was a valedictory speech for the class in 2012. Harvard University admitted her, however, she was required to sign on her entry twice before she could be accepted as a student in Nashville. Peeples appeared as a guest star on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and was a regular character as a recurring character in Necessary roughness (1991). She appeared in made for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In season two, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire has named Peeples among the best actors below the age of 20 in September 2014.
