Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they were certain that there was no turning to the other side. Ashley Hudson was only 17 and had never had a girlfriend before, so they took it slow. But it was truly love at first sight. Andrew asked God to bless him on New Year's Eve, just prior to the year's end, to grant him one more blessing for the year 2016. Andrew wanted Ashley to accept. Ashley desired a wedding that was elegant with a theme of woodland. It was crucial to her that the day was a reflection of both Andrew and Ashley. They incorporated their favourite things for the wedding. Ashley lived on 40 acres that were picked as the location. Ashley was familiar with the entire region, having walked through it and played on the land. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in the field several times before they began dating. Because the wedding was essentially DIY, personalization was an integral aspect. Andrew and Ashley's father designed the ceremony arch and the seating, while Ashley was in charge of designing and painting. Ashley says, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I had always envisioned had Anna's stunning floral arrangements had not been put in place." Absolutely stunning.
